 Sungai Petani have a lot of attraction place. Visitors who like to travel to nature, heritage and entertainment can visit Sungai petani. Kedah is a state in the northern part of the west coast of peninsular Malaysia. the state is famed for its paddy field and known as The Rice Bowl country.

Sungai Petani is the second largest city and industrial hub.

special about Sungai Petani is the city have Clock Tower in the middle of the town at Jalan Ibrahim. The clock tower was bulit in 1936. it is 12.1 m in height. the tower was present from Lim Lean Teng to George V and Queen Mary to commemorate the Silver Jubli.

The Carnival is a water park in Sungai Petani within the grounds of Cinta Sayang Golf and Country Resort. The Carnivall is the first water park in Kedah. it was opened on 25 December 2006

the fees to enter The Carnivall is rm25 per person and rm18 per children include lunch package.

The Bujang Valley or Lembah Bujang, sometimes referred to as the Ancient Wonder of Kedah, is a rich historical site covering an area of about 400sq. km situated in Merbok (17 km from Sungai Petani), bounded by Bukit Coras (Choras Hill) and Gunung Jerai. This archaeological area was the site of an ancient Hindu-Buddhist kingdom that ruled the region from the 4th century AD. There is also an archaeological museum situated here which is known as The Lembah Bujang Archaeological Museum.Visitor also can visit heritage site like Candi .

beside that, visitor also can refresh because beside the candi, there are waterfalls. the water at the waterfalls was so cold and the scenery there were so beautiful.

For recreational, visitor can visit to Taman Jubli Perak which is build to remind Jubli Perak Sultan Kedah, Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah festival. Accommodation like food stall, jogging trek, playground, and public toilet were provided.

         visitor that like waterfalls panorama, they can go to Tupah recreational. It was located in Gunung Jerai rainforest. Tupah recreational is most popular among people that live at the district. Accommodation that were provide there like surau, toilet and food stall.
