             MERDEKA..

Pantai Merdeka is one of the popular beach at Kedah. It was located 26km from Sungai Petani. Pantai Merdeka is in Kuala Muda district. We can go to Pantai Merdeka with follow the road to pekan Tikam Batu.

 

From Pantai Merdeka, we can see Gunung Jerai. It is beautiful and calm.  Visitors can do a lot of activities there like fishing, picnics, travel to other nearest island and also take boat to Tanjung Dawai.

 At Pantai Merdeka also have stall that sell food if visitor feel want to eat. At the stall, they have special Air Batu Campur(ABC)  that is ABC Gunung Jerai. If the visitors want to try something cool, icy and delicious, they can try ABC Gunung Jerai. ABC Gunung Jerai is famous at the Pantai Merdeka because the ice is high and have ice cream and connetto at the peak. so yummy!!!

If visitors want to swimming at the beach,visitors can enjoy swimming without worries because Pantai Merdeka have JPAM tower which is act as coast guard or ‘pengawal pantai’.

Visitor also can take boat to Tanjung dawai. The fees is only rm2 per person and on holidays, the fees rm5. It took minutes journey. At Tanjung Dawai, visitors can have a lot of choice seafood like fish,crab,prawn, Belacan and many more. Visitor can buy the seafood with cheap price. Usually  visitors who came to Tanjung Dawai will not going back with empty hand. 

 for visitor who like to photography, Pantai Merdeka can be one of their choose because scenery sunset at there were very beautiful.
