TAKE JOURNEY TO MALACCA.



Malacca is strategically situated on the famous Straits of Malacca about 147km  south from Kuala Lumpur. Malacca is one of the smaller states in Malaysia and it does not have lofty mountains or beaches but it more than makes up for this with it rich history and wealth of tourism attractions. Malacca city is a UNESCO World Heritage site and to add to the area allure, the state government and private enterprise have created many newer tourism attraction around malacca. 

Maritime Museum

Malacca have Melaka Heritage trail. a lenghty walk around the heritage sites in the heritage of this historic city. highlight include Christ church, the Stadhuys and many more.

melaka is crammed full of museum, most of them is close walking distance of each other. Favorites museum include BabaNyonya Heritage Museum, Maritime Musuem, Islamic Museum and others. 


Malacca zoo is situated 13KM away from the historical city or from Malacca town. Malacca Zoo provides several activities to its visitors. Among all the facilities include elephant rides.
Visitors can enjoy and at the same time seeing primates at close range in this fascinating Malacca Zoo. Admission fee for adult is RM7 and for children RM4.


 Portuguese Square is situated within the Portuguese Settlement about 3km from the city. The building in the Portuguese Square are develop in the late 1980. this building are unique in design resembling Portuguese architectural and attractive.

 Visitors also can taste the delicious cuisines and at the same time having a great experience on the Portuguese culture. 

 
Light and Sound Show is situated at Bandar Hilir, Padang Pahlawan in Malacca. This is the first projects in South East Asia. 







The Light and Sounds Show takes one on journey to the past from the melaka sultanate to Malaysia gaining independence. this is the show that not be missed by visitors who are keen to understand more of Malacca history and culture.  

           

 A Famosa is one of the place that can be find in Malacca  A Famosa stands out as the major historical landmark. A Famosa was built by the Portuguese in 16th century as a protection against Dutch naval force. A Famosa site should never be missed by the visitors. The gate that one sees today survived the countless years of damage brought to A Famosa by wars and natural erosion a change process that is witness by solitude cannon that still stands in front of the gate today.
